Harley–Davidson Email Design System
To sustainably meet the goals of Harley Davidson’s email team, I led an initiative develop a scalable, Figma-based, UI kit to empower designers to efficiently manage the marketing team’s various campaigns.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
The first step in systemizing the library was determining the initial set of modules and components needed. In collaboration with Harley’s internal marketing team, we determined there were 4 evergreen email templates to design for – Product Showcase, Trigger / Cart Abandon, Newsletter, and Ad Hoc emails.
THE END PRODUCT
The design system was tested and improved upon over its initial 3-months of implementation. In that time, I led a team that helped maintain and expand the library which resulted in over 20 modules with with unique components that gave way to improved production times.
